GROUP OF ACTORS IN DALAS -

THE DFW FILM ACTORS' CIRCLE

The Film Actors' Circle is a community of Dallas/Fort Worth area actors (and others who visit the Metroplex from time to time) who commit to support each other and work together as time permits on film scenes and auditions. The idea came to me when Robert Duvall was here in a SAG Conversations event several years ago. He said one of the keys to success in this business is to "Get with a group!"

Our primary goal is to nurture a strong support group dedicated to building on-camera skills, audition preparation, and sharing professional objectives and successes. Even though we may elect to bring in a professional acting coach from time to time, this is not an ACTING CLASS! And the Circle should not take the place of ACTING CLASSES!  Actors dedicated to building the quality and commitment of the Texas talent pool and how we present ourselves to casting directors and filmmakers are encouraged to join and participate as much as schedules allow.
